MENDHAR, Jan 17: Creative writing and declamation competition for col.lege students of Govt Degree College, Mendhar was organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force on January 10, 2015.
Ten Girls and 10 boys participated in the competition and the topic of the competition was, ‘Indian Army: Pride of the Nation in War and Peace’. All the participants had put in tremendous hard work and showcased their hidden talent. Total 109 students and 22 Lecturers attended the competition. First and second prizes were given in both girls and boys categories.
These type of events help in developing essential skill of public speaking and also cultivate the sense of competition which goes a long way to boost the confidence of youth to face the audience and get over the stage fear.
