JAMMU, May 27: Ridhima Sports Club India, a national-level organisation promoting sports, organised the 6th Youth and Sports Promotion National Cricket and Kabaddi Championship at MAM Stadium, Jammu.
Teams and clubs from eight states across the country participated in the event. In the overall results, Tamil Nadu emerged as the champion, while Andhra Pradesh secured the first runner-up position and Punjab finished as second runner-up.
In the cricket category, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory clinched the first position, followed by Andhra Pradesh at second place and Rajasthan at third position.
The prize distribution ceremony was graced by senior BJP leader Munish Sharma and Director Citizens Cooperative Bank Charanjeet Singh Raina, who jointly presented awards to the winning teams and outstanding players. Others present on the occasion included Santosh Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Jasmeet Singh, Kulvinder Singh, Anil Wadhera and Vakeel Singh.
