JAMMU, Nov 19: A grand traditional Dangal was organized at Gajansoo, attracting enthusiastic participation from locals and sports enthusiasts. The event was graced by former Minister Sukhnandan Choudhary, DIG JSK Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, as chief guest, along with SP Rural Jammu, SDPO Domana, SHO Kanachak and IC BPP Gajansoo.
Addressing the gathering, DIG Sharma lauded the organizers for preserving the rich cultural heritage of traditional sports. He emphasized that events like Dangal not only entertain but also foster unity, discipline, and brotherhood among communities.
DIG Sharma highlighted that such platforms provide youth with opportunities to channelize energy positively, develop discipline, and identify local sporting talent. He said, “These events reflect our cultural identity and play a vital role in nurturing young talent.”
