JAMMU, Nov 7: The Inter-Collegiate Volleyball (Women) Tournament 2025-26, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, concluded at University Volleyball Court, here today. In the final, GDC Ramnagar defeated PG Deptt. University of Jammu in straight sets (25-20, 27-25, 25-18) to claim the championship title, showcasing excellent coordination, strong serves and tactical defense.
The third-place match saw GCW Parade outplay GDC Bhaderwah by 2-0 (25-20, 25-18), securing a commendable position. Ravish Vaid, Table Tennis Coach, University of Jammu, presented trophies and medals, congratulating all participants. The tournament was held in the presence of Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Jaswant Singh, Dr. Mukesh Kumar and Sunil Sharma, under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Sports Directorate. Matches were officiated by Amit Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Pragya Sharma, Parvinder Sharma, Anil Sharma, Shubham Sharma and Vikas Karlopia.
