JAMMU, Nov 5: The shooters of Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ), a Khelo India–accredited academy, continue to make a strong mark in the national shooting circuit, with Katrina Kaif and Lovyia Parihar winning Gold Medals at the prestigious 27th All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter School Shooting Championship 2025, held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, from October 27 to November 4.
Katrina Kaif delivered a standout performance in the ISSF 10M Air Rifle Sub-Youth Women category, securing the top position with an exceptional total of 629.7. Lovyia Parihar matched the dominance by clinching Gold in the NR 10M Air Rifle Sub-Youth Junior Women category with an impressive 397/400.
Both shooters not only claimed first place in their respective categories but also registered scores superior to participants across Sub-Youth, Youth and Junior divisions in both Men’s and Women’s events, underlining their precision, strength and competitive focus.
Founder patron of JKRA and former DGP J&K Dilbag Singh, JKRA chairman Kuldeep Jamwal, general secretary DySP Sharat Chandar Singh and treasurer Arun Mansotra reiterated their commitment to promoting young talent from J&K, strengthening the UT’s presence at national and international levels.
Hailing the results, JKRA president Surinder Singh Sodhi recognized the contribution of Coach Vishal Mehra (ISSF and NRAI Jury) and Aman Singh (ISSF C and National Coach) for their consistent role in grooming emerging shooters and preparing them for future Olympic participation.
