JAMMU, Sept 8: The Veterans Cricket Association J&K (VCAJK) unveiled its new team uniform today in a special ceremony held ahead of the upcoming North Zone Veterans Cricket Tournament in Haryana. The event was graced by Gaurav Gupta, BJP spokesperson and former General Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries Jammu.
Also present were Vivek Suri, General Secretary VCAJK, along with members Nazar Hussain, Bawa Barjinder, Sachin Singh and Mansoor. Gaurav Gupta congratulated VCAJK for its efforts in promoting veterans’ cricket and praised their successful organization of the recent Inter-Division Veterans Cricket Championship, where Jammu Veterans won by 3-0 over Kashmir.
Vivek Suri highlighted the association’s mission to provide a competitive platform for cricketers aged 40 and above. “We aim to keep the passion for cricket alive by offering structured opportunities to showcase their talent,” he said.
