JAMMU, July 22: Five senior players from Jammu and Kashmir have completed the Coach-cum-Referee Course in the newly introduced sport of Goal Ball Shot. The course, organized by the Goal Ball Shot Association of India, was held in Delhi, under the guidance of experienced technical experts.
The qualified participants include Anil Dogra, Kapil, Rohit Vadan, Sunny Dogra and Rahul, who will now contribute to the promotion and officiating of the sport across the Union Territory.
Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary of Goal Ball Shot Association of J&K (GBSAJK), expressed gratitude to Harmanjeet Singh, President, and Notla Rajendra Prasad, General Secretary of the national body, for providing the opportunity. Notably, J&K recently secured a medal at the national level in Goal Ball Shot, marking a strong presence in the sport.
