Renowned social worker, Dinesh Gupta, a recipient of President’s Gold Medal for his continued selfless social services, has been awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Science and Humanities by Nillm University, Kaithal (Haryana). The degree was awarded to Gupta as recognition of his exemplary work and contributions made in the field of service to mankind, particularly towards children in distress. Gupta is a former Assistant General Manager of the RBI, former Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society (Jammu region) and patron of the J&K Red Cross.
