RAJOURI, Mar 1: Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Rajouri concluded its Kabaddi Tournament at District Police Lines Rajouri. The tournament, which began on February 19, saw enthusiastic participation from teams across district Rajouri. The final match held today was a thrilling contest between Jamola Kabaddi Club and Kotranka Kabaddi Club, with Jamola Kabaddi Club emerging victorious with a commanding 21-point lead.
Following the final match, Tejinder Singh, DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, along with Gaurav Sikarwar, SSP Rajouri, Satish Kumar DySP Headquarters Rajouri, Akshay Khajuria DySP DAR Rajouri and Pawan Sharma DySP Staff Officer RPHQ Rajouri, honoured the players for their dedication, skill and perseverance.
Tejinder Singh emphasized the importance of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit. He commended all participating teams and officials for making the tournament a success. The event concluded with the distribution of trophies, medals, and cash prizes to the finalist teams.
