SRINAGAR, July 30: The 6th District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Championship 2025–2026 culminated at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex (SKISC), here today. The event was organized by the District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Association, under the aegis of the J&K Yogasana Sports Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.
Maqsood Ahmad, Manager, SKISC was the chief guest on the closing ceremony. Guests of honour included Shabir Ahmad Dar, Senior Coach, J&K Sports Council; Bollywood actor Aadil Khan; Basit Nabi, Secretary, District Budgam Yogasana Sports Association; Altaf Ahmad Bhat, Member, JKYSA and Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, President, District Srinagar Yogasana Sports Association.
Tameem Tariq was declared best male player, while Hurrabah Ashai was named best female player. The association thanked all stakeholders for their support and pledged continued promotion of Yogasana at the grassroots level.
