JAMMU, Oct 20: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hilal Rather at Simula Sports Headquarters here, in which threadbare discussions were held regarding the smooth conduct of the forthcoming 5th Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Cup.
Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Cup is a regular feature which is conducted for the students and youths of the State at Jammu with the objective to promote communal harmony and to celebrate the duo festivals together though T-20 sports.
It was decided in a meeting that the 5th Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Cup will start from October 26 at Parade Ground here and invitation for registration in the said cup is open for two days only. The tournament will be played on league-cum-knock out basis.
The tournament will be organized under the banner of Simula Sports and Vishal Club Jammu and the organizing committee includes Hilal Rather, Rajesh Gill, Sanjay Mahajan, Vinay Gupta, Vijay Saberwal, Anand Tripathi, Vivek Sharma, Rajesh Dhar, RP Singh, Saleem-ur-Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Madan Mohan, Sandeep Manchanda and Vinod.
The Organizing Secretary of the tournament is Rajesh Gill, former Ranji player.
