JAMMU, Apr 3: Government today appointed five outstanding sports players in different departments under SRO 349/98.
Wasim Hassan Bhat, son of Basher Ahmed Bhat, resident of Malpora Park, Srinagar and Tashi Thinles, son of Skarma Smstant of village Nang-Rang-Pa Thichsay, Leh-Ladakh have been appointed as Laboratory Assistants, while Mehraj-ud-Din, son of Farooq Ahmed Bhat of Nehru Park, Srinagar was appointed as Library Assistant in School Education Department. Kapil Pangotra, son of Devki Nandan Pangotra, of Raghunath Pura, Jammu and Narinder Kumar Malhotra, son of Jagdish Malhotra of Jhullaka Mohalla, Jammu were appointed as Village Level Workers in Rural Development Department.
The appointees will be on probation for a period of two years and will report to their administrative departments/ HoDs within a period of 21 days from the date and time of this order.
They will be allowed to join only on production of the academic/ technical qualification certificate, age and health certificate, State Subject, Sports category certificate, character and antecedents/ verification certificate from CID and no loan certificate under self employment scheme from Industries/ Employment department.
The salary of the appointees will not be drawn and disbursed unless a satisfaction report about the verification of their character antecedents was received from IGP, CID, to whom a reference will be made by the respective Administration Departments/ HODs.
The orders of appointment will be subject to cancellation in case, at any stage it emerges that the certificates/ documents furnished by the appointee to seek selection were fake/ fictitious or not in consonance with the conditions prescribed under the recruitment notification.
