JAMMU, Sept 5: The 44th KVS Regional Sports Meet for girls in the disciplines of chess, skating, shooting, lawn tennis and table tennis, under the age groups of 14, 17 and 19 years, concluded at KV Sunjuwan, here today.
Monika Devi of KV Domana bagged first place in Under-14 girls chess, Aneesha Gupta of KV-1 Gandhi Nagar bagged Under-17 chess title, while Srijna of KV Hiranagar claimed Under-19 title.
In lawn tennis, KV-4 Pathankot bagged Under-14 title, while the Under-19 title went to KV-2 Jammu Cantt.
Table tennis and skating events were also held on the occasion and the players have been selected to represent Jammu Region in the KVS National Sports Meet.
Tilak Raj Choudhary, Principal of KV Sunjuwan was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed medals among the winners of various events on the occasion.
