4 Specially Abled cricketers selected for Zonal C’ship

Jammu Nov 14: Four J&K Specially Abled cricketers have been selected to represent the North Zone cricket team for the Zonal Cricket Championship for the physically challenged cricketers which is scheduled to be commenced at Varanasi from November 16 to 21.
The championship is being organized under the banner of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India at Varanasi.
“The secretary of the National Association asked the J&K Association about the nomination of four speciallyabled cricketers from J&K for the upcoming championship,” said Rajesh Gill. The selected players include Mohd Nadeem, Jagmohan Singh, Ayaz Ahmad and Yawar.
Rajesh Gill, former Ranji player & mentor of J&K Physically Challenged team conducted one day special camp here for the selection of players and informed that the players were selected on behalf of their previous performances in the national level tournaments, whereas Mohd Nadeem will lead the North zone team.
He discussed various aspects of the game with the selected players regarding their participation and performance during the forthcoming zonal matches and conveyed his best wishes to all the players.
