SAMBA, Apr 6: Inter-battalion Table Tennis Championship, organised by Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF), inaugurated at here today.
The championship was inaugurated by Deputy Commandant of 38 Battalion Deepak Mehra.
About 12 teams are taking part in this championship which was organised under the guidance of Inspector General of Police CRPF Jammu Sector, Deputy Inspector General of Police CRPF Jammu Range.
While addressing the gathering during inaugural ceremony, the chief guest focussed on importance of the game to make every individual healthy and fit. He urged the players and spectators to participate in more and more sports activities and show their skills.
Sanjay Mohanty Deputy Commandant, subordinate officers and soldiers of the Battalion were also present during the inaugural ceremony.
