SAMBA, Nov 18: Seventeen students selected for upcoming 16th National Matsogi-Do Championship which is scheduled to be held at Kopargaon (Shirdi) Maharastra in the month of December.
The students were selected during the 18th J&K UT Matsogi-Do Championship-2021 (boys & girls) held at Humanity Public School (HPS) Bassi-Kalan, Bari Brahmana Samba on November 14.
About 26 participants participated in the championship wherein 17 students of HPS clinched medals.
The Gold medallists were Sayam Singh Charak, Koushal Singh & Jagjot Singh, whereas Aakriti Charak, Rittu Attri, Chander Partap, Sneha Sharma, Aryan Jamwal and Aditiya Hansa were among Silver medallists and Bronze medals were secured by Viralika, Sonia Rajput, Hari Om, Muzammil, Aditiya Sharma, Lachhman, Divyansh Sharma and Vishal Kumar.
School Principal, Gaurav Charak and Vice-Principal, Anku Charak lauded the efforts of the students and their coaches including Pankaj Kumar and Nikhil Jaral for this performance.
