JAMMU, Dec 2: All J&K Sports and Cultural Welfare Association (AJSCWA) is going to organise 15th Edition of Christmas Gold Cup at GGM Science College Ground from December 4.
It was disclosed by the chairman of the Association and senior BJP leader, Yudhvir Sethi while addressing the media persons at Press Club Jammu in presence of other office bearers including SM Gill, president; Anil Massom, vice president; Dr Atul Hans, vice president and Yousaf Don, general secretary of the Association.
About 18 teams are participating in this tournament such as J&K Bank XI, Court Road FC and a team from Samba and Kathua district while 14 remaining teams from Jammu are part of this tournament.
The opening match will be played between Sainik Colony FC and City FC. The final match is scheduled to be played on December 17.
The teams were divided into two Pools wherein J&K Bank XI (A), Christian United, Young Rovers, Jammu United SFC, DFA Samba, Court Road Srinagar, Param FC and Shaheen FC were part of the Pool-A, while J&K Bank XI, Young Hero XI, Alliance FC, Young Star, United FC Kathua, Sainik Colony FC, City FC, Vijay Club and Pegasus Hero FC were part of Pool-B.
