13 State karatekas felicitated for winning medals in Intl C’ship

JAMMU, Oct 21: 13 karatekas of All J&K Shito-Ryu Seifukan Karate Do Association, who represented India and won medals  in the 5th International Karate Championship in Goa recently were felicitated by the Association, here today.
The function was organized by the office bearers of the Association, under the supervision of its chairman, Ayodya Gupta, vice president, Keshav Chopra and general secretary, Surinder Gupta.
Those who were felicitated included Vishesh Pandita, winning gold in kunite and bronze in kata; Yudhvir Radha, gold in kumite; Shgreeya Labroo, gold in kumite; Naresh Kumar, silver in kumite; Abhijeet Singh Chib, bronze in kumite; Revati Nandan, silver in kumite; Neeraj Singh Manhas, silver in kumite; Rakshit Mehrta, silver in kata and bronze in kumite; Nauman Ather Malik, bronze in kumite; Nikhil Gandotra, silver in kumite; Mohit Singh, bronze in kumite; Sanyam Labroo, bronze in kumite and Nitin Bharti, silver in kumite.
The team was accompanied by coach, Vikas Dhar, manager Abhijeet Singh and assistant manager Naresh Kumar.
Style chief coach Amit Singh lauded the efforts of the players for outstanding display of their skill.
