11th Jammu Distt Shooting C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Sept 9: 11th Jammu District Shooting Championship, organised by Jammu District Rifle Association, concluded at Aim 10x Shooting Academy, here today.
Around 60 shooters including men and women participated in the championship from Mission Olympic Shooting Academy, Delhi Public School Jammu, Army Public School Domana, Youth Services and Sports Club, International DPS and Aim 10x Shooting Academy.
Samarth Tuli was the highest scorer in men category, while Shimani Choudhary was the highest scorer in women category. Medals and certificates were awarded to the winners by Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, president J&K Rifle Association in presence of Sharat Chander Singh DySP, Rajesh Virdhy, Vishal Mehra, Ramijeet Singh and others.
In 10 mtrs Air Rifle sub youth men, Vansh Charak, Akul Mengi and Viraj Koushal stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in youth men, Samarth Tuli, Himanshu Gupta and Paras Dalbir Singh remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd and in junior men, Rumit Singh stood 1st, besides in senior men, Sunny Khajuria, Himanshu Kumar and Karan Nayak bagged top three places respectively.
In women sub youth, Raveena Jangid, Prachi Virdhy and Sanskriti Rajput secured top three places respectively, while in junior women, Shimani Choudary stood 1st and in senior women, Priya Chib, Himanshi Aggarwal and Janvi remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In Air pistol sub youth men, Saksham Virdhy stood 1st, in youth men, Prabjot Singh and Tanishq Singh stood 1st and 2nd respectively, in junior men-Divyansh Singh Charak and Prajwal Dev Singh stood 1st and 2nd respectively, in senior men-Vishab Sharma, Gurmeet Singh and Vinod Puri remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, in sub youth women- Shreya Charak and Laabibah Michelle Tahir clinched 1st and 2nd respectively, in youth women-Sanvi Gupta and Bhagirathi stood 1st and 2nd respectively, in senior women-Shiwani Kamal, Surbhi Gupta and Roopali stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
