JAMMU, Aug 28: Tawi Cricket Club (TCC) registered 29 runs win over Blood and Guts Cricket Club (BGCC) and stormed into the next phase of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Events, at Amb Gharota ground, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, TCC scored 94 runs by losing all wickets. Vishwajeet and Bhushan scored 18 runs each, while Dilip made 12 runs.
From BGCC side, Pankaj scalped 3 wickets, while Amit took 2 wickets and Rahul clinched one wicket.
In reply, BGCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 65 runs for the loss of all wickets. Vishal, Pankaj and Amit scored 16, 11 and 8 runs respectively.
From TCC side, Dilp and Bhushan exhibited exemplary bowling performances and took 3 wickets each, while Naman scalped 2 wickets.
The Man of the Match trophy was presented to Dilip of TCC by Sagar Sadhu, who was chief guest on the occasion.
The match was officiated by Neeraj and Shakti as umpires, while Shahrukh acted as scorer.
