Rana lauds private sector for spreading education

NAGROTA, Dec 2: Provincial President National Conference and MLA Nagrota, Devender Singh Rana today said sky is the limit for young students to excel in the fields of academics and extra-curricular activities, adding that this can be achieved by enhanced interpersonal relationship between teachers, students and parents.
Mr Rana said this at the Annual Day Function of St Joseph’s Convent School, Doke Waziran, Nagrota.
Mr Rana urged parents, who were present in large numbers at the function, to have frequent interaction with teachers so as to monitor the development of their children on regular basis.
Complimenting students, especially those who participated in various activities, Mr Rana said that Annual Day Function is a special occasion for parents and their wards.
Speaking on the occasion, Sr Usha Thomas, Principal, St Joseph’s Convent High School said this institution was  established 2003 to impart value based education to the children of the town and nearby villages.
Besides students, faculty members, parents, prominent citizens, Rev. Ivan Pereira, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar, President of Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar Education Society was the guest of honour at the Annual Day Function.
