JAMMU, May 11: Mayank Goswami Cricket Club (MGCC) thrashed Jai Hind Cricket Club by a big margin of 66 runs in the ongoing Friendship Cup at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
Batting first, MGCC scored 208 runs, with Surya Mahotra, Suryansh Raina, Subrat Sharma and Sahil Mahotra contributing 58, 36, 30 and 25 runs to the total respectively. For Jai Hind Club, Khajuria took 4 wickets, while Harman Singh and Aryan Dogra took 3 wickets each.
Jai Hind Club bundled out for 141 runs. Abhinav Puri contributed 49 runs, while Aryan Dogra and Kartik Sahrma contributed 20 and 14 runs to the total respectively.
For MGCC, Sampark Gupta and Sanat Anand took 3 wickets each, while Shubham Singh Pundir, Sahil Mahotra and Nityam Abrol claimed one wicket each. Surya Mahotra was adjudged as man of the match.
