KC International School organizes Robosapiens workshop

JAMMU, Dec 29: Two days workshop on Robosapiens was organized for the students of Class VI to X at KC International School, here recently.
38 children participated in the workshop. The resource person was Arun Rawat of IIT Delhi.
The main aim of the workshop was to provide a technical platform to the students to promote robotics right from the grass root level and also to motivate and encourage them to use their creativity and imagination skills during designing Robots.
Robotic kits were provided to the students. They learnt the basic concepts of electronics, mechanics, robotics and its various applications and also gained the practical knowledge while working on robots.
The students worked on I-Bot, Mini V3, Black Line Follower, White Line Follower, Wall Follower, Torch Line follower and so on .The resource person also organized a competition to develop a small project on robotics. All the students participated enthusiastically and 22 students were selected for IIT Delhi.
The workshop was very much informative and helpful to the students. The vote of thanks was presented by the Principal, Maya Mishra.
