JAMMU, Apr 25: Organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, the Annual Intra-Mural School Level Competition commenced in Miran Sahib Zone, here today.
The Competition was held in two schools-HS Brij Nagar and GMS Brij Nagar, under the supervision of Sarita Pandha, ZPEO Miran Sahib, while Head of the Institution Haqiqat Ara was the special guest on the occasion.
Earlier, in kho-kho Under-17 girls at HS Brij Nagar, Nehru House defeated Gandhi House by eight points to three (8-3), Ambedkar House trounced Shastri House by (10-3), while in the final, Nehru House drubbed Ambedkar House by (7-2) points.
Meanwhile, in kabaddi Under-17 boys at MS Brij Nagar, Gandhi House outplayed Ambedkar House by (21-11) to clinch the title, while in other matches, Ambedkar House trounced Shastri House by (20-11), while Gandhi House outclassed Nehru House by (21-11).
In kho-kho Under-14 girls at MS Brij Nagar, Shastri House beat Nehru House in the summit clash to claim the title. In other matches of this category, Nehru House beat Ambedkar House by (17-9), while Shastri House prevailed upon Nehru House by fifteen points to five (15-5).
The matches were officiated by Surinder Kour, Nisha Sharma, Rama Rani and Ravinder Singh.
