JAMMU, Nov 26: Five Science Projects of the Heritage School were shortlisted for Science Exhibition held at Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, New Delhi, recently.
Science Project ‘Soil Moisture Sensor’ prepared by Sajjal Rana and Sparsh Jandial of class VIII bagged 3rd position.
The Science Exhibition was part of the science event, ‘STEM Symposium’ (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) held at New Delhi under the aegis of EHI (Education & Health International).
The endeavour of this event was to promote interest in Science and its methodologies amongst the young generation and to get them motivated through interaction with fellow students as well as leading scientists and professionals.
The event was judged by Dr Henry Throop from NASA and Dr. Makrand Hastak from Purdue University.
Prof Prabir K Bagchi, Vice Chancellor SRM University was the Key Note Speaker of the event.
