JAMMU, Oct 27: Organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA), State Senior Snooker League commenced at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the league matches played today, Furkan Wani beat Sauraj Singh by 2-0, Inderpal Singh thrashed Abhishek Sharma by 2-0, Shubham Parbhaker defeated Ajay Sharma by 2-1, Ankush Sharma registered win over Krishna by 2-0 and Jaswinder Singh beat Saksham Gupta by 2-0.
Further, Vidit Gawri defeated Deepu (Gurvinder Singh) by 2-0, Saeed Bashir outplayed Aqib Farooq by 2-1, Manik Sharma beat Saleem Banday by 2-0, Rohit Sharma thrashed Varun Sharma by 2-0 and Adnan Lone registered win over Aman Sharma by 2-1.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok.
