Educators should bring out best out of young minds: Asiea Naqash

JAMMU, Mar11: Minister of State for Health &Medical Education, Social Welfare and Housing & Urban Development, Asiea Naqash today said that our vision is to nurture a generation of young people who are self motivated with creative thinking, good communication skills, strong sense of commitment and a foundation for lifelong learning.
The Minister was addressing the gathering at 2nd Annual Day celebrations of Doon Kids and Doon Hills International School.
The Minister said that as educators we all share the same mission of nurturing young minds and bringing out the best in them, adding that, we need to cater to all students, so that students with different abilities and interests are able to exploit their full potential.
The Minister while lauding the efforts of the school management said that this institute is imparting quality and value based education among students which helps them to excel in academics besides providing world class professional experience to produce global leaders.
She asked the students to learn and experience cultural facets of our State, languages, arts, traditions and imbibe cultural awareness of their heritage.
Asiea Naqash said that these activities lead to all-round development of the students and appreciated the efforts of the school management for providing a platform to budding talent.
On the occasion, the tiny tots, dressed up in colorful costume for various performing art items, served audience with an assorted platter of entertainment.
Later, the Minister also distributed prizes among students and faculty for their performances and contributions toward the development of institution.
Retired SSP J&K Police, MA Khan, SP J&K Police Tabassum Parveen, SSP Armed Police Sukhdev Bhasin, other personalities from different fields and parents of students were present on the occasion.
