SAMBA, Dec 4: APS BD Bari celebrated its annual day amidst great zeal, zest and vibration.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest Brigadier Deep Bhagat, Chairman APS BD Bari along with Principal Neeta Rawal.
SaraswatiVandana reverberating in the background cleansed the aura of the school. The programme was attended by a galaxy of officers along with parents.
The whole programme revolved around the theme of “URJA-the energy unlimited” depicting the urja of positivity in life. Various programmes presented by the students well demonstrated the theme of the event. From tiny tots to teeny boppers everybody enthralled the audience with their thrilling and power-packed performances.
The annual report read out by the Principal showcased the achievements of the school both in curricular and co-curricular fields.
“Shiv Tandev Stotram” engrossed the audience, creating a pious and spiritual environment. A glittering bonanza of dances and songs enthralled the audience and the resounding applause from the spectators confirmed the proof of children’s talent. Beautifully choreographed folk and fusion dances depicted the rich, radiant and vibrant cultural diversity of India. The dance performance on current issues like “Female infanticide”, “Child labour” “Save trees” captivated the audience. “Bhangra” was the show topper of the day.
In order to felicitate the students, prize distribution ceremony was organised wherein Chairman gave away the prizes to the various rank holders in both curricular and co-curricular arenas.
Chairman encouraged the students and audience with his words of wisdom and blessings. He said that the programme was assiduously planned and executed by the students and staff of the school. He further said that the school is working hard for the upliftment of the academic standard and is sanguine that it will further show more improvement with the passage of time.
The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the CCA Coordinator of the school.
