JAMMU, Dec 23: The ongoing 6th All India Defence Accounts Department Volleyball Tournament, being hosted by PCDA (Northern Command) Jammu, concluded, today at PCDA Sports Ground with a colourful cultural programme.
Sangeeta Gupta, Principal Commissioner Income Tax, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion.
The final match in Men’s category was played between the teams of PCDA (Pensions) Allahabad and CGDA, Delhi Cantonment. PCDA (Pension) outclassed CGDA, Delhi Cantonment and won final in straight sets 3-0.
In the women’s category, CDA Chennai defeated PCDA (WC) Chandigarh by 2-0.
The Cultural programme started with the welcome address by Saswati Bandopadhyay, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Northern Command) Jammu.
The prizes to the winning teams were distributed by the chief guest, Sangeeta Gupta, and Saswati Bandopadhyay.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks presented by RK Pandey, Additional Controller.
