JAMMU, Nov 17: Zakir of Bishnah won the top title of Bhagwati Nagar Panjpeer Dangal (BNPD) organized by BNPD Committee, today.
NC Candidate, Dharamveer Singh Jamwal was invited as the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamwal said the main objective of promotion of Indian Style Wrestling should be exposure of the talent hidden in rural area and to keep alive traditional rural sports.
Jamwal further stressed upon the various heads of Dangal Committees to follow the rule of wrestling so that J&K can participate at national level and international level and bring laurels for the State.
He hailed the efforts of the Wrestling Association for promoting Indian Style Wrestling in the State and appealed the youth to come forward and participate in Indian Style Wrestling which will help in their all round development.
