JAMMU, July 26: Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi today inaugurated a showroom of readymade garments at Pacca Danga, here.
The showroom ‘Panehas-A Fashion Hub’ would be one of its kinds in the area and would offer options of latest fashion trends to dressing conscious people of the area.
On the occasion, Yudhvir honoured winners of ‘Selfie with Daughter’ contest organized by the showroom. The contest was a grand success and thousands of selfie photographs were received.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir congratulated the owners on opening of the new showroom and appreciated their efforts for contributing to the cause of daughters by holding the contest.
He said the novel initiative of ‘Selfie with Daughter’ launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has received overwhelming response and the campaign has generated awareness among the people on the issue of gender equality.
The first prize in the contest was won by Rashi Ashis Gupta, second prize by Mannat Meen Kour and Sapna Jolly won third prize.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Pankaj Sehgal, Rohan Sehgal, Rahul Kanna, Nipun Sahni, Rohan Mahajan, Brij Lal Sehgal, Arun Sethi, Anil Masoom, Pardeep Langeh, Nischal Anand, Rakesh Mahajan and Nitesh Trikha.
