Martial Arts competition concludes

JAMMU, Jan 14: Martial Arts is a life skill and the BJP will do everything in its stride for its promotion among the youngsters in Jammu, said senior vice president of J&K unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party Yudhvir Sethi, here today.
He was speaking on the concluding ceremony of Martial Arts competitions, organised by Academy of Unity, a famed Martial Arts Academy of the city.
The Academy organised the competitions at Deewan Mandir, Kachi Chawni where Yudhvir Sethi was invited as chief guest of the function. Speaking at the ceremony, Sethi said that besides keeping the youth fit and healthy, Martial Arts also imbibes in them skill of self-defence.
“Martial Arts have become a life skill. It not only keeps the youth fit and active, but also opens new avenue for the budding sportsmen,” said Sethi.
He applauded the Academy for actively working in this field to aware the people about benefits of practicing martial arts and asked it to continue their good work in the future.
Sethi who was joined by Parveen Kerni as the special guest on the occasion, also interacted with the students at the academy and assured his complete support and help in the future.
Other guests on the occasion were Sudhir Anand, Suresh Bharti, Anil Masoom, BJP Yuva Morcha team and various senior workers of BJP.
Coaches including Aman Gupta, Shavikesh Dadwal, Ishan Sharma, Sneepika Verma, Karan Dadwal, Abhi Dadwal, Palak Dhiman and Munish Dadwal were also present on the occasion.
