JAMMU, July 28: Youth and children brought laurels for Jammu and Kashmir UT by winning Gold and Silver medals in various competitions, organised by Sports and Cultural Federation of India at Haridwar Uttarakhand from July 26 to 28.
About 58 children and youth from various districts of the J&K UT participated in competitions including Volleyball, Kabaddi, Badminton and other events.
The participants won Gold medals in Volleyball discipline of Under-17 and Under-19 categories, whereas silver medal was clinched in Under-14 category, besides in Badminton and Athletic competition, the participants won Gold medals.
The players participated in the competition under the supervision of Sweety Jyotshi (Secretary), Aaqib Mushtaq (Official of Volleyball), Sushil Kumar (Official of Kabaddi), Aditya Bhagat (Official of Badminton) and Sanjay Kumar (Team Manager).
