JAMMU, Oct 24: 10-year old boy Naman Gupta displayed extraordinary cueing skills to ender the second round of the ongoing Sub Junior Snooker Championship, while Sunny Rajput and Vidit Gawri sealed berth in the semifinals of the 4th Six Red Balls Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In Sub Junior Snooker, Naman Gupta defeated Aarav Gupta by 2-1 by (51-19, 48-12, 42-16), while Deepanshu got the better of Harshil Sharma 2-1 by (35-44, 38-12, 61-27); Aryan Tak prevailed over Krishna Mahajan by 2-0 by (69-34, 36-21) and Parbleen Singh drubbed Deepanshu Brahmi by 2-1 (53-31, 37-56, 51-40).
Earlier, in 4th Six Red Balls quarterfinals, Sunny Rajput outplayed Stanzion Stobdan (4-2) by (13-35, 44-18, 51-18, 11-35, 66-34, 34-11), while Vidit Gawri defeated Vishal Abrol in a close contest by (4-3) 42-18, 41-16, 32-34, 06-37, 34-23, 17-39, 31-10.
