JAMMU, Oct 12: Young Star CC emerged winner of Circle King Night tournament by trouncing Link Road CC by 68 runs, played at Government Boys High School Simbal Camp, here today.
Young Star CC won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Young Star scored 109 in 10 overs whereas Link Road CC managed to score only 40 runs in 10 overs and lost the tournament by 68 runs.
BDC Chairman Daleep Kumar was the chief guest, whereas Rajinder Singh Nathu Sarpanch, Ramesh Kumar Sarpanch and Ramandeep Singh member United Sikhs were the guests of honour.
After the completion of the match, the trophies were distributed among winners and runner-ups teams’ players.
Ramandeep Singh while speaking on the occasion appreciated the organisers for successful conduct of the tournament. He demanded that the Government should pay attention towards the sports infrastructure of Simbal Camp.
