Young cricketers to go under hammer in auction of 2nd PPCPL today

JAMMU, May 17: The first of its kind rather historic auction of the 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL), wherein over 120 young cricketers will go under hammer, will be held at Police Auditorium, here tomorrow.
Out of a total of 120 selected players, 70 players are from J&K, while 10 players are from rest of India.
These players after bidding will be included in various participating teams.
The 2nd PPCPL is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club Jammu from May 27, 2019.
The slogan of the league is “Let junior cricketers smell the aroma of IPL at Jammu with J&K Police”.
All the teams owners and selected players have been intimated to report at Police Auditorium Jammu for the auction of the players & composition of the teams at 9.30 am sharp.
MK Sinha IGP Jammu has kindly consented to be the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu and Tejinder Singh SSP Jammu will be the special guests on the occasion.
The participating teams include Horizon Kings, KC Sports Club, Vriddhi Royals, Patel Cricket Club, Count & fitness Hurricanes, Samar Strikers, KC Royals, GSI Tigers and the Game Changers.
The league is being organized under the Chairmanship of MK Sinha IGP Jammu and the executive/organizing committee members of the league include Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu, Tejinder Singh SSP Jammu, Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu, Arjun Choudhary MD KC Sports Club, Ranjeet Kalra, Hilal Rather, Rajesh Dhar, Prashant Mahajan CPO, Farooq Ahmad SP Headquarters Jammu, Suram Singh SP Rural, Hamid Choudhary Dy.SP DAR Jammu, Sudhir Singh, Sanjeev Mahajan, Sham Singh Langey, Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Vijay Saberwal, Sanjeev Sharma, Karan Singh, Amit Bargotra, Madan Mohan and Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer/former Ranji Trophy Player and Organizing Secretary of the event.
