Jammu, Dec 12: Students Working for Advanced Technology (SWAT) Club of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Ideal Dental Care, Shastri Nagar, organized a free dental check-up camp at YCET Auditorium for the benefit of students, teaching and non teaching staff.
A team of specialist doctors from Ideal Dental Care comprising of Dr Mohit Gupta and Dr Rama Sharma and other paramedical staff conducted the camp, in which a large number of students and staff attended an awareness lecture on dental health, common oral ailments and precautions as well as availed free consultation on their oral ailments.
While delivering lecture on oral health, Dr. Rama emphasized on importance of oral hygiene and its various techniques, like proper brushing style, dental flossing, regular dental check-ups etc.
Vinod Sharma-MD, IDC also informed that dentistry, being a vast and evolving field, comprises of different specializations and their clinic located at Shastri Nagar having qualified staff and well equipped with all latest dental equipments as well as modern infrastructure capable of handling all types of patients.
The Camp ended with a vote of thanks by Rhea Mahajan while Er BR Verma, Dean Academic Affairs-YCET also spoke on the occasion.
