SRINAGAR, Aug 29: Mallinson Girls Football Team and Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora registered victories in Women’s Football Tournament 2015 at Govt Women’s College Football field, here.
In the first match, Mallinson Girls HS School defeated Women’s College Blue team by four goals to one (4-1). The star performers from Mallinson Girls School were Aneesa Haleem, who pelted 3 goals (Hat-trick) and Rabia Qadri, who netted one goal, while Rehan was the lone scorer for Women’s College Blue.
In another match, Govt. Girls HS School Chanapora defeated New Convent HS Gogji Bagh by two goals to nil (2-0). Nadia was the main scorer for Chanapora, who pelted 2 goals.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Presentation Convent HS Srinagar will take on Mallinson Girls HS School Srinagar at 11 am and Women’s College Football Team (Red) will lock horns with Govt. HS School Chanapora at 12 pm.
