JAMMU, Jan 16: One day webinar was organised in Gandhi Memorial College of Education Raipur Bantalab here today.
Dr DN Sansanwal former Head SOE Devi Ahaliya Vishwa Vidyalaya Indore and Dr Iqbal Mattoo from University of Kashmir were chief guests.
The webinar was conducted on “Teacher Education” under National Education Policy 2020 and Role of ICT in Education Policy 2020.
Dr Sansanwal highlighted the importance of teacher education in educational system of the country whereas Dr Iqbal Mattoo emphasised on importance of ICT in future education.
Earlier, Satish Talashi Principal Gandhi Memorial College of Education highlighted the importance of mass enrolment and retention at lower levels.
Nearly 50 participants from different degree colleges participated in the programme.
Earlier, Meenu Khazanchi welcomed the guests, whereas Seema Bhat presented the vote of thanks.
