JAMMU, Oct 1: Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy and president Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Dr Farooq Abdullah has been elected chairman of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Corporate Cup Committee in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held recently.
Meanwhile, treasurer Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, Manzoor Wazir has been elected as member of Zonal Cricket Academies Committee, while Ex chairman JKCA and former Bureaucrat, Mehboob Iqbal has been elected as member of Junior Cricket Committee.
Former J&K cricketer and JU Academician, Ranjeet Kalra will be the member of BCCI Museum and Cricket Memorabilia Committee, headed by Dr CP Joshi, former Union Minister and sitting MP from Bhilwara for the newly coming up Museum of Indian Cricket History at BCCI Headquarters Mumbai.
