JAMMU, Sept 14: Walley CC registered emphatic win over Shankara XI by 3 wickets in the ongoing KPCL, organised by Safran Cricket Club at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first, Shankara CC scored 162 runs by losing 6 wickets in stipulated overs. Parveen Raina made 31 runs, while Mohit Koul and Suraj Koul contributed 27 and 25 runs to the total respectively. From the bowling side, Varagiya, Sanjay Sanju and Ravi Pandita clinched one wicket apiece.
In reply, Walley CC chased the target on the loss of seven wickets and won the match by 3 wickets. Varagiya made unbeaten 31 runs, while Ravi and Vineet contributed 26 and 20 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Siddharth took 3 wickets, while Rahul, Parveen and Ritik clinched one wicket apiece.
