JAMMU, Nov 10: Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Akalpur Morh, Jammu, organised an innovative “Best out of Waste” Project Competition, inspiring students to transform discarded materials into creative and functional works of art. The event promoted environmental awareness, recycling and up cycling, highlighting the importance of resourcefulness in sustainable living.
Students skilfully used materials such as plastic bottles, cardboard, fabric scraps, tires and e-waste to craft unique projects reflecting creativity and environmental consciousness.
Projects were evaluated for originality, complexity and effective use of waste by Dr. SK Kaul, President Vishwa Bharati Women’s Welfare Institution; Prof. AN Sadhu, Chairman Academic Committee; and Annapurna Kaul, Principal. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the top innovations. The event was organised under the guidance of Rupali Gupta from the Department of Social Science.
