JAMMU, Apr 20: Sixty ninth foundation day of Vishwa Bharati Educational Institute, Akalpur Morh, Jammu was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour.
A special morning assembly was organised in which students and teachers delivered speeches over the history of the school and its meritorious service for spreading education in the society.
The day long programme started with pooja ceremony in the school premises. The ritual ceremony was performed in the school Campus by the members of governing board and other dignitaries of the institution including Dr SK Koul, Secretary Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Jammu, Dr OP Razdan, Prof AN Sadhu Chairman Academics, Prof RP Sharma, Prof Bharati Bhat Principal Vishwa Bharati College of Education with staff, Prof Annapurna Koul Principal Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School.
Sacred mantras were chanted for the growth and welfare of the institution. All the staff members of school along with students participated in the Programme. The Pooja ceremony culminated with the Purna Ahuti.
After the completion of Pooja Ceremony Prashad was served to all present on the occasion.
