Vishal Club defeats Amandeep Academy in Friendship U-19 boys series

JAMMU, Jan14: Vishal Cricket Club Jammu defeated Amandeep Cricket Academy by 68 runs in first match of the Friendship Cricket series under-19 boys, being played at Amandeep Cricket Academy Amritsar, today.
Batting first, Vishal Cricket Club scored 242 runs for the loss of five wickets in 30 overs. Kanya Wadhwan made highest 81 runs, Arnav Gupta scored 56 runs, whereas Janveer and Arman contributed 42 and 38 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Happy and Sandy took two wickets each while Suhail bagged one wicket for his team.
In reply, Amandeep Cricket Academy managed to score 174 runs for the loss of all wickets with Arsh contributing 42 runs while Gursahib made 24 runs and Gurtez scored 16 runs. From Vishal Club Krishna took four wickets, Kartik bagged three wickets and Aqib clinched two wickets. Thus Vishal Club won the match by 68 runs.
The tour for the Jammu boys is being arranged by the senior cricketers of J&K and members of the Indian Cricket Association in association with Vishal Cricket Club Jammu under the supervision of Rajesh Gill member ICA member and former Ranji player with the objective to provide platform to the J&K cricketers, so that they can exhibit their cricket talents and to improve their match temperament while playing with other state players.
