JAMMU, Oct 6: District Fencing Championship organized by Jammu and Kashmir Fencing Association concluded today at indoor complex, MA Stadium, here.
On the occasion, the chief guest was MJ Sharma, President Fencing Association, who while speaking encouraged the players.
In under-17 Foil (boys), Shivam Verma of JK Montessori and Tanish Mahajan of MA Stadium bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Poorvak Suri of MA Stadium and Aryan Manhotra secured bronze medals.
In Open Epee (girls), Sakshi Verma of JK Montessori and Arushi of Dewan Devi HS secured gold and silver medals respectively, while Shamshad Bano of MA Stadium and Avintika of MA Stadium clinched bronze medals.
In Open Epee (boys), Teja Singh of MA Stadium and Vishal of MA Stadium bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Saksham Gupta of JK Montessori and Munish of JK Montessori clinched bronze medals.
In Open Sabre (boys), Vansh Mahajan of JK Montessori and Rudra Pratap Singh of JK Montessori bagged gold and silver medals respectively, while Siddant Raina of MA Stadium and Abdul Rafiq of MA Stadium clinched bronze medals.
