JAMMU, Dec 4: The Union Territory Netball Championship commenced here today in Jammu where 12 districts from Jammu and Kashmir enthusiastically participated. The tournament was organised under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
Ranjeet Kalra, Member Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council was the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony in presence of several other prominent guests such as Mubashir Hassan, Director Cricket Academy, Incharge of Media and Publication at Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Bajinder Pal Bali, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Bhisham Batra, Director Batra Group, Ritika Slathia, Manager Indoor Sports Complex Bhagwati Nagar, Gautam Shukla and Sahil Chopra.
Kalra said, “The championship with its diverse representation from over 12 districts, promises an engaging display of talent and sportsmanship. It serves as a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, passion, and dedication towards the sport of Netball.”
