JAMMU, Oct 18: The Wrestling Association of Jammu and Kashmir is organizing 1st J&K UT Beach Junior Wrestling Championship-21(first of its kind) on Mud Akhara at Bajrangi Akhara Shalamar Jammu.
The competition will be held in the following weight categories: 70kg, 80kg, 90kg & +90kg for men whereas 50kg, 60kg, 70kg & +70kg for women.
All wrestlers of J&K whose age is 18 to 20 years under the above mentioned weight category are requested to report at Bajrangi Akhara Shalamar Road Jammu on October 23 at 7 am for weighing along with Aadhar card and Date of Birth certificate issued by Competent Authority of J&K. The competitors must be born in the years 2001-2003 (18-20 years) and 2004 (17 years) may participate with medical and parental certificates.
The winners of the championship will represent J&K UT in 1st Junior Beach Men & Women National Wrestling Championship which is scheduled to be held at Hissar (Haryana) from November 1 to 2.
