SAMBA, Aug 8: District Level Inter-School Athletic Meet for Under-19 girls got underway, under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba, Subash Chander Bhardwaj, here today.
Narinder Singh, Principal of GHSS Boys Samba was the chief guest on the occasion, who awarded medal and trophies to the winners and runners-up athletes.
The gold medal winners in, 100 Mtrs, 200 Mtrs, 400 Mtrs, 100 Mtrs, 1500 Mts and 5000 Mtrs were Priya Sharma, Ranjana Rajput, Shubharti Choudhary, Rajni Sharma, Madhu Bala and Rimpy Devi respectively, while the gold medal in Shot Put, Broad Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Discus Throw and Javelin Throw went to Mamta Sharma, Ranjana Rajput, Rajni Sharma, Mamta Sharma and Sonia Devi respectively.
