JAMMU, Nov 27: Two days Open Judo Championship, organized by J&K Judo Association concluded at Shubh Memorial International School Akhnoor today.
About 300 judokas from different schools participated in the championship.
On the valedictory function, the chief guest was Prem Singh Chib from Revenue Department of Municipality, while Vikas Gupta Joint Secretary of Judo Federation of J&k, Gul-e-Surkhab former International player, Ramesh Kumar Gupta, EO Akhnoor, Nazneen Akhtar, ZEO Akhnoor Shilpa Mahajan Corporator Ward Number 5 Akhnoor, Sumit Sharma Principal of Shubh International School, Rameshwar Singh Jamwal Judo Coach BSF & Incharges of different schools were also present.
Manish Chatwal was the Organizing Secretary of the championship.
The Gold medals in girls category were clinched by Aashvi, Sunakshi, Shagun, Vedanshi, Varsha, Kashavi, Chahat and Cvedanti, whereas Silver medals were bagged by Auneet, Varsha, Anvi, Ishita, Anjali, Prasati, Sanvi and Ridhina and Bronze medals were secured by Pawana, Vanishka, Babita, Misthi, Sehaj, Shyla, Aakriti, Anju and Prabhwar.
The Gold medals in boys category were bagged by Maanu, Saaras, Keshav, Ridhaan, Aaduib, Sanyan, Abhey, Aorav, Abhilaksh, Agrim, Divanshu and Saikrish, whereas the Silver medals were secured by Shiva, Shagun, Udav, Deepak, Vehan, Rebash, Bhawik, Shrwan, Kashyap, Rajveer Singh, Inderjeet and Tanisha. The Bronze medals were clinched by Sunny, Abey, Ayaan, Ranveer, Verraj, Anshuman, Shivansh, Kabunesh, Akshun, Divansh, Mansum, Anmol, hardik, Virat, Samar, Abhimanyu, Kartik, Svanik, Rajveer Mehra, Aarav, Angat, Navdity, Rahul and Attarv.
