JAMMU, Jan 29: Tsering Kunsal student of class 11th of Lamdon Model Senior Secondary School Leh and Maqsooma Bano of Class 10th of HS Kaksar Kargil shined in Kala Utsav-2020 by clinching 3rd and 2nd prizes respectively in instrumental Music -Traditional Folk and Visual Art-2D, today.
A virtual valedictory function cum prize distribution ceremony of the event was held today in the presence of Secretary, Deptt of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education; Joint Secretary Department of School Education and Literacy; Director NCERT, Joint Secretary CIET, National Convener Kala Utsav and Secretary NCERT.
The selected students from UT Ladakh performed in six visual/ performing art forms out of nine selected for the Kala Utsav-2020.
Team Kala Utsav UT Ladakh headed by Sonam Yangchan (Nodal Officer) Tsewang Namgail (Technical Coordinator) setup the studio at Paras Hall of Boys Higher Secondary School Leh ensuring the participation of the selected candidates at UT level in their respective art forms.
